The business credit game is changing a bit – Equifax Making a Play

A while back I wrote some articles about DnB losing market share and then Equifax making a move into the business credit arena.  Like most of you, I do not have much experience with Equifax business but some of the banks that offer cash lines of credit are now pulling equifax. I did an application for Sams Discover with no PG a couple weeks ago and got a letter in the mail saying that my Equifax business credit file was not strong enough. Just a sign of the changes. Volvo also claimed that they pull

Equifax, Experian and DnB but the finance guy at the dealership that I spoke to said that the inhouse guy gets to decide which file they will send to the bank. Apparently they get to choose from Experian and Equifax. That give us an idea that the big boys seem to dislike DnB like some of us..lol…. On the bright side though, Cadillac business credit pulls DnB, and they approve with no PG. Marc
