Electronic Parts

Electronic parts of component are usually packaged in a connecting pad made of metal or lead. These components are soldered together in a circuit board to create a functioning electronic circuit. These parts connect the flow and control it (in ways such as the amount of ohms going through the circuit at a specific point on the electronic circuit board). There are two types of components: active components gain (an example would be semiconductors), passive components do not gain. There are many types of electronic components that are sold in stores, they include: power sources, piezoelectric devises, transducers, detectors, sensors, capacitors, networks, magnetic devices, resistors, protection devises, switches, cables, wires, cords, connectors and terminals. Most of these common parts can easily be found in stores, but for the more rare items, they are sold directly through the manufacturer or another store (that may be found online). They are not sold in stores because not a lot of people require the component for their project, hence it would not yield a lot of sales. Where do you purchase these electronic parts for your project? First of all, there is at least

one Electronic Part Catalog or Semiconductor Catalog located at your local hardware store. If your hardware store does not carry the part you are looking for, you can always go online to order them directly from the manufacturer. Note that they tend to have a minimum amount that you must order from the manufacturer. If you simple need a few parts (well under 30), you can look for electronic parts online stores that have them available individually. Try to find a store that has what you have first, if there are quite a few online store that does carry your part, then you can go look into which store has the best shipping and handling rate (most likely the store that is located in your country or even near your state). Also note that End of Life Electronic Parts can ruin the environment if placed in the landfill. Do not place your end of life electronic parts in the garbage can, instead, call to see where there is either a recycling program for these parts or a safer way of disposing them.
