Most markets in Asia rose.

The Nikkei was up 2.7% to 7,911.

The Hang Seng rose 3% to 12,668.

The Shanghai Composite was down .7% to 1,969.

In Europe, the FTSE opened down .5% to 3,857. The Dax was up .2% to 4,227. The CAC 40 was up .5% to 2,994.
